Chanda is a native Kansan, born and raised in Colby. She started with the KSN family in March of 2001 as a reporter and anchor at KSNC, in Great Bend.

Chanda earned her BA in broadcast journalism from the University of Kansas in December of 2001. Before joining KSN she interned at Fox 4 (WDAF) in Kansas City as well as interning and weekend reporting for KTKA in Topeka.

Chanda enjoys spending time with friends, family and Great Dane, Duke. She and her husband, Cody, welcomed their first child in September.
