Kera Mashek joined the KSN team in January 2008.

Previously, Kera worked for KHQA TV 7 News in Quincy, IL, where she was a general assignment reporter and photographer. While at KHQA, she covered news, sports and even weather for viewers in Missouri, Illinois and Iowa. Before that she interned at CW-11 News in St. Louis, MO and reported for Minds Eye, a radio station serving the blind and print handicapped.

Born and raised in Elsberry, Missouri, Kera graduated Magna Cum Laude from Webster University-St. Louis, with a degree in Broadcast Journalism and a psychology minor. While at Webster, she was involved in a number of activities, including the campus radio and television stations.

She married her husband Floyd after finishing college in 2006. They now live in Great Bend with their dog Aleah. Kera is happy to be in Kansas, and would love to hear from you.
