Dana has been in the Wichita market since 1997, reporting full time for KSN since 2000. Prior to that, Dana was at WTVW in Evansville, Indiana, where she worked as a reporter for a year before joining KSN.

She grew up just outside Colorado Springs and received her bachelor's degree from Colorado State University. During her studies she gained experience in broadcasting by interning at KCNC and KUSA in Denver.

Dana's first job out of college was at KOAM in Joplin, Missouri where she worked as a reporter and anchor. She subsequently went to WTVW and then landed here at KSN. She started out as a reporter and weekend anchor for the KSN produced "FOX News at Nine." Dana rejoined the KSN news team in 2000.

Her honors include winning a first place award from the Kansas Association of Broadcasters for a story she did on the first deaf Rhodes Scholar and a first place KAB award for a series on the BTK Killer.

She enjoys spending her spare time with her children, shopping, and traveling.

Dana has a daughter, Taylor, and son, Trent.
