|
During the reporting period, our stations hosted five college students and three high school students as interns in our weather, news, promotion and sports departments. Our department heads oversee the internship program. The internship program offers meaningful educational and work experiences designed to meet the academic and career goals of the intern. |

Co-Sponsor Job Fair |
On June 26, 2007, our stations co-sponsored and participated as employers in the Kansas Association of Broadcasters Career Fair in Wichita, KS. Station participants included our Vice President/General Manager, General Sales Manager, News Director, Program Coordinator and Human Resource Administrator. |

Participate in Event Sponsored by Educational Institution Relating to Career Opportunities in Broadcasting |
(1) In February 2007, our stations participated in a program at the Friends University in Wichita, Ks. Station participants included our Chief Meteorologist, who gave severe weather training to university staff. (2) In February 2007, our stations participated in a program at the Blackbear Bosin Academy in Wichita, KS. Station participants included our News Anchor, who spoke to students about the broadcasting industry and careers. (3) In April 2007, our stations participated in a program at the Lincoln Elementary School in Wichita, Ks. Station participants included our News Anchor, who spoke to students about the broadcasting industry and careers.
