| JOB DESCRIPTION: |
Supervise show producers -- including scheduling, coaching, critiquing and reviewing. Ensure entire content of each newscast, including weather, is clear, concise and easily understandable by our viewers. Ensure entire news content of the station’s website, including weather, is clear, concise and easily understandable by our viewers. Work with producers, directors and graphic artist to determine best use of graphics, live shots, and pre-produced elements to compliment stories included in each newscast. Maintain a positive work environment through active team-leading participation. Ensure all standards of fairness, accuracy and relevancy are met.

| QUALIFICATIONS: |
Proficiency in newsroom computer systems. Ability to handle multiple tasks. Ability to write clear and concise copy. Competency in spelling, grammar and punctuation. Five years experience in television news as a producer required. Previous management experience preferred. College degree in Communications, Journalism or related field preferred.
