I'll tell you what prompted this, KU is loosing!! Badly!! Lawrence Kansas is nothing more than a preppy college town, full of rich kids. When they dont get there way or they get there feelings hurt this is how they react. You want to talk about coaches with tempers, coaches that verbally humiliate there players and nothing ever happens to there jobs??? What was that bball coaches name that like to throw chairs??? Bobby somethin??? the only difference was he won ball games just like mangino was doing last year but now that KU isnt winning its all about abuse from the coach!!! Im no fan of KU but maybe the preps of Lawrence should buy themslves a clue. Last year was nothing but a flook deal they werent that good before and now there loosing again. Big Shocker!!!

Sports programs are driven by alumni members. The people with the money sway influence and call the shots. Look what happened to Solich in Nebraska. A bad season and disgruntled alums cost him his job. It's a higher-stakes version of what happens in high school when a big wigs child doesn't get enough playing time. At some point all adults revert to acting like children.
