DirecTV is having problems delivering their signal in some areas including part of the KSN viewing area. They are telling some of their customers there is a problem with the signal coming from local television stations. Or that KSN and other local stations are requesting DirecTV not broadcast to its customers our HD signal.
THIS SIMPLY IS NOT TRUE!
We want all our viewers in the KSN viewing area to see our entire HD product line-up in High Definition. This includes NBC network programming and most of our syndicated programs like Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy and Nancy Grace.
If you are in the KSNW viewing area, you may watch these programs over the air in HD. By the end of the year you will see KSNG Garden City over the air in HD; and next year you will see KSNC Great Bend in over the air HD.
Also you have the right to call DirecTV and tell them KSN says it is fine to carry our signal in HD. We are broadcasting at maximum power and our signal is very good.
And you may also refer them to this web site for additional proof in writing of our permission to offer our signal in HD.
