News Director, Executive Producer

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Produce creative and compelling newscasts.

Must work with graphic artist and show director to construct a newscast that is clear and intriguing from start to finish.

Ensure that all standards of fairness, accuracy and relevancy are met.

Responsible for timing newscast and reacting to breaking news.

Proficiency in newsroom computer systems.

Maintain a positive work environment through active team participation.

Contribute to station’s Web site and social media platforms.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum of one year experience producing in broadcast news required.

College degree in journalism or related field.
