Today's recipe comes from Jake Lippincott from
Yia Yia's Euro Bistro.
Ingredients:
1 beef tenderloin; cleaned and cut to sized
½ cup mixed fresh herbs
¼ cup chopped fresh garlic
Salt & Pepper (taste)
¼ cup vegetable (or canola) oil
Directions:
- Rub Beef tenderloin liberally with all garlic, fresh herbs, and salt and pepper to taste.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a sauté pan, add oil and heat til oil smokes slightly. Sear tenderloin until golden brown on one side. Once golden brown, flip the tenderloin in the pan and place in the oven. Cook 25-30 minutes to medium rare, or longer for desired doneness. Allow meat to rest 10 minutes, then slice and serve with favorite fresh vegetables and mashed potatoes.
