WICHITA, Kansas -- Every Thursday, look for the 'Pet Project' on KSN News at Noon.
This week, Jennifer Campbell shows one of the cats that is up for adoption at the Kansas Humane Society. She also talks about Cat Independence Days, a chance to get a cat for free or a kitten for a reduced price. There's also a reduce fee for dog adoptions.
Cat Independence Days are Saturday, July 10 & Sunday, July 11.
Jennifer also addressed these pet issues from viewers:
A 6-month-old puppy that still has a baby tooth even though the puppy appears to have all its adult teeth
A German Shorthaired Pointer that scratches constantly even after 14 days of medicine
A Jack Russell Terrier that gets car sick on long journeys
