NEWTON, Kansas -- The Caring Hands Humane Society in Newton has been finding homes for a group of dogs seized from a breeding operation.

The shelter started adopting out the pups on August 10.

There were 19 dogs. The shelter staff says the dogs all came from poor conditions.
