CINCINNATI, Ohio (NBC) -- A Cincinnati, Ohio bus driver who brought a news conference to a screeching halt last week has been cited.
Joann Searles was cited for improper change of course after hitting a news truck parked outside the Greyhound station.
The truck was parked at a news conference to update the status of a collapse at the Horseshoe Casino Cincinnati project, which injured more than a dozen workers.
Searles berated reporters and officials for not moving when she honked prior to the collision.
"If this group of people would have moved out of my way I wouldn't of ran into this truck. We still have a job to do and I understand you all have a job to do, too, but I still have a job to do. I got passengers on this bus," she said in front of the cameras.
Searles was also suspended by Lakefront Lines, the company she was driving for at the time.
