DIGHTON, Kansas -- In the game of bowling, 100 is an average score for Edna Hall. In the game of life, getting to 100 is worth a big celebration.

“It's quite a surprise, I'll tell you,” said Edna.

At 100 years young, Edna can outbowl a lot of people half her age, but she'd never admit that.

“I broke my wrist about a year ago and I’m not back to real bowling yet, but I’m getting there,” said Edna.

Monday and Wednesday nights you can find Edna at Dighton Bowl. She's been going there ever since the place opened nearly 50 years ago.

She also attends senior and state bowling tournaments, making her the oldest female bowler in the state.

“Every year she says, ‘This is the last year,’ and we just keep telling her one more,” said friend, Anita Smith.

There’s no sign of Edna stopping. She lives at home alone, maintains her garden and even drives when needed.

But most importantly, her friends say, she'd do anything for others. She’s the kind of person this world just may need a little longer than others.

“Keep the Lord in your heart and he'll help you through everything,” said Edna.

Edna may never see that perfect game, but her life is already a remarkable victory.
