Garden City man receives Hard 50 sentence for murder

GARDEN CITY, Kansas -- A Garden City man has been sentenced for the murder of a 16-year-old Deerfield girl.

Joaquin De Anda was given the Hard 50 sentence by Judge Michael Quint Tuesday morning for the murder of Julia Quintana.

Quintana's body was found in dumpster behind De Anda's Garden City home back on Dec. 16, 2008.
