HAYS, Kansas – A LaCrosse man is dead after being electrocuted in Hays Tuesday morning.
The 52-year-old man was electrocuted in the 100 block of Vincent Ave. at around 11:30 when a boom he was using to unload fiberglass tanks came in contact with an overhead power line.
The man was taken to Hays Medical Center, but later died of his injuries.
His name has not yet been released.
