RICE COUNTY, Kansas – The owners of a Rice County pharmacy have been found guilty for their part in an Internet pill mill scheme.

Jolane and Mark Poindexter pleaded no contest to the charges. They are the owners of Hogan’s Pharmacy in Lyons, which was shut down in March 2008.

The couple, along with another pharmacist, distributed prescription-only drugs over the Internet to customers who simply had to fill out a questionnaire.

Sentencing is pending.
