RUSSELL COUNTY, Kansas – A former Russell County teacher has pleaded guilty to unlawful sexual relations after having a relationship with a former student.
Nina Urban, 25, turned herself in to authorities back in January after parents of a student at Lucas-Luray High School, where Urban taught, alleged that she had a sexual relationship with their son.
Urban later resigned from her teaching position after being charged with three counts of unlawful sexual relations. She has pleaded guilty to one felony count.
Sentencing is set for January 5
th.
