SALINA, Kansas -- The Salina Fire Department responding to a garage fire in the 300 block of West Cloud Street Friday afternoon.
Upon arrival, crews found smoke and flames at the back alley side of a single car garage.
The resident says she heard a loud pop outside, and when she went to investigate what the noise was, she saw that her yard and back of the garage was on fire.
Crews found an energized electrical line that was down in the yard; Westar was called to the scene to secure the line.
Fire crews were able to make a quick knock down on the fire, there were no injuries reported.
An investigation was conducted, but that exact cause has not been determined.
