KANSAS CITY, MO (October 30, 2011) – Left-handed pitchers Bruce Chen and Jeff Francis, as well as catcher Jason Kendall, declared Major League free agency last night at midnight ET. Kendall simultaneously was reinstated from the 60-day Disabled List. The Royals 40-man roster currently stands at 38.
