LAWRENCE, KS-- According to KUathletics.com the Jayhawks have tabbed Charlie Weis as new head football coach.
Weis, a former offensive coordinator at New England and Kansas City, will take the job after being the offensive coordinator for the Florida Gators last season.
Weis also was the head coach at Notre Dame for five seasons compiling a record of 35-27.
A press conference is take place tomorrow afternoon at 5pm.
