EL DORADO -- Andre Ingram and Josh Gibbs combined for 35 points, as Butler beat Colby 69-59 Monday at the Power Plant.
The win makes Butler 13-7 overall and 3-3 in the Jayhawk West.
Ingram, a 6'7" sophomore from Minneapolis, Minnesota, scored a game-high 17 and had eight rebounds. Gibbs, a 6'4" sophomore from Raytown, Missouri, had 16 points and hauled in nine rebounds.
Colby (10-11, 1-6) lost for the fifth straight time. Carson Konrade led their scoring column with ten.
The Butler women also beat Colby, 74-57. Bishop Carroll product Abby Fawcett had 25, as the Grizzlies move into a second-place tie in the Jayhawk West.
Both Butler teams will face Cloud County Wednesday in El Dorado.
