Kansas Wesleyan Football announces 2011 Signees

Kansas Wesleyan University Football Coach Dave Dallas and his staff have announced its 2011 Signing Class as part of today's National Signing Day activities around the country. The Coyotes have signed 19 individuals to join the Coyotes next season.

Wesleyan looks to build on its 7-3 record last season, a year where the Coyotes shattered nearly every team and individual offensive total offense, passing and receiving record on the books after implementing a new offensive scheme.

Wesleyan's Signees are:

Carson Watley  6-5  300  OL  Fr.  Vega, Texas / Vega HS
All-District OL/DL during senior year;  Team Defensive MVP; National Honors Society

Seth Myers  6-1  180  WR  Jr.  Salina, Kan. / Highland CC (Kan.) / Central HS
All-League; 5A All-State WR ; One-year starter at Highland CC

Derek Harman  6-2  200  K/P  So.  Salina, Kan. / Southwest Baptist (Mo.) / South HS
First Team All-League; First team 5A All-State; one year starter at Southwest Baptist, where last season he averaged 36.8 yards per punt on 39 kicks and had a long of 63.

Nick Wallace  6-2  260  OL  Jr.  Healdsburg, Calif. / Mendocino College (Calif.)
Two-year starter; Two-time Player of the Week; Honor Roll

Zach Willis  5-6  150  WR/DB  Fr.  Salina, Kan. / Ell-Saline HS
Two-year letter winner; First Team All-League DB 2010; nephew of former KWU great Steve Willis

Langston Kennedy  6-4  245  DE  Jr.  Modesto, Calif. / Mendocino College (Calif.)
Two-year starter at Mendocino; 8.5 TFL/4.0 Sacks during So. Year
