HOLLYWOOD, California (NBC) - The game show meets a cocktail party in "Hollywood Game Night".
"We have six celebrities, two civilians, we split them up into teams of four. I'm the
host and we play these crazy games that we made up, based on the crazy nights
we had at Sean Hayes' home," explains host Jane Lynch.
In fact, the former "Will and Grace" star is executive producer of the series, which was shot inside a Hollywood mansion.
"We all get dressed up, we're all drinking. It's kind of like the old days when the stars would get drunk on Merv Griffin or whatever," Lynch says.
Contestants are out for cash and prizes, while the celebrities are playing for charity.
"Hollywood Game Night" premieres tonight at 9, right after an all new "The Winner Is".
