WICHITA, Kansas -- A person was shot Saturday night after burglars were seen breaking into a home.
It happened at a home in a trailer park in 4400 block of South Meridian.
Two victims arrived home and spotted four people breaking into a neighbor's house.
When confronted, one of the suspects fired a gun at one of the victims, hitting him in the hand.
He was then attacked by the other suspects and was kicked and punched.
The suspects took off in a vehicle and when the victims tried to follow, their car was rammed, wrecking it.
Police were called to the scene and are looking for the suspects.
