WICHITA, Kansas -- Jacquilla Scales disappeared back in 2001. Her family pleaded for her return back in 2001.
"Come home, just come to us, she's my only daughter," said Eureka Scales, Jacquilla's mother in a interview with KSN years ago.
Nearly 12 years later, the family does not have answers, and there are many others filled with twists.
The case of Adam Herrman missing for years and not reported by his parents.
Doug and Valerie Herrman both given prison terms for taking child assistance money even though Adam had vanished years earlier.
"That's our biggest concern, where is he, what happened, why didn't we find out about it sooner," said Tiffany Broadfoot, Adam's biological sister.

Still parents do hold out that they too can find their missing loved one alive.
"I always have faith that she is alive somewhere, somewhere she's alive. I know she is I feel it in my heart that she is," said Eureka Scales.
On the national scene, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children lists hundreds of cases.
Some are endangered runaways, and others have been abducted.
In Wichita, the Missing and Exploited Children's Unit says it is actively trying to solve several cases.
