OTTAWA COUNTY, Kansas -- About ten miles north of Salina and another ten miles west, Denny Snra thinks his farm was hit by a tornado.
There's damage to some of his outbuildings and power poles are down.
The power actually went out right before the storm.
Snra was sitting in his truck, inside a building when the storm hit. That building is now gone.
"I was just charging my cell phone up, listening to the radio when that wind just blowed and blowed, just harder than devil and just kept a-getting stronger and stronger and all at once, there wasn't nothing over me, everything just left," he said.
Snra says he's just happy to be alive and his livestock is unharmed.
Emergency crews are checking area farms to make sure everyone is okay.
There is also some minor flooding in the area.
