Recently I received some skin care products to review and reached out to some respected bloggers to test them out and give their feedback. This is part four in a summer-long series, featuring Crystal Paschal MomForLess.com. -Twinkle
I am going to be blunt: this product smells like dog food. I was all set not to like it because of that, and because of the complicated application process, but I ended up loving it.
About two hours after using this product for the first time, I received a compliment about how great my skin looked. I've received several more since I began using the product. For me, the results are worth enduring the funny odor.
Rating: 4 out of 5
Benefits: Immediate visible results
Drawbacks: Unpleasant odor, application process is cumbersome
I love this product. It smells great, it feels great on the skin and it moisturizes without making my face oily. For me, the only real drawback to this product was the packaging.
The small container of facial treatment came in a large paper box, which seemed like a waste. This natural product left me with a lot to throw away, which seemed counter-intuitive.
Rating: 4 out of 5
Benefits: Easy to use, smells great, visible results after a few days
Drawbacks: A lot of packaging
I really tried, but I couldn't find anything I didn't like about this product. It has a great silky feel, and a little bit goes a long way. The best part was that when I applied my foundation over this product, my skin looked flawless.
It reduced the visibility of my skin imperfections. This is definitely a product I will continue to use daily.
Rating: 5 out of 5
Benefits: Feels great on the skin, improves the finish of my foundation, organic and GMO free
I applied this product day and night underneath my eyes as the package direct, and while it had a pleasant odor and texture, I did not see visible results.
In my experience, the product did not live up to the claims it made about reducing the signs of aging around my eyes. I would probably not purchase this product again.
Rating: 2 out of 5
Benefits: Easy to use, pleasant scent
Drawbacks: Did not see visible results
Disclaimer: I was provided with these samples and like everything that I review my opinions are my own.
