BUTLER COUNTY, Kansas – A 13-year-old Wichita girl has died from injuries she received after a golf cart crash.

The girl, Regan Wheeler, was driving the golf cart with two of her friends at Fox Lake on Wednesday evening when she crashed into a barbed wire fence. An adult at the lake was able to cut her from the barbed wire and she was flown to a Wichita hospital.

Sadly, however, Wheeler died from her injuries.
