Man robs Winfield Bank

WINFIELD, Kansas – Winfield police are looking for a suspect in an armed robbery of a bank Friday afternoon.

At about 1 p.m. an Asian male entered the Corner Bank in the 1400 block of Main St. armed with a semi-automatic handgun, demanding cash.

He is described as approximately 5’5” to 5’9” weighing between 110 and 150 pounds. He wore a dark T-shirt, black mask a light colored pants.

He left with an undisclosed amount of money on foot.
