WICHITA, Kansas - A Wichita man was shot Friday night while riding his scooter.
The shooting happened in the 800 block of south Lightner just after 10:00 p.m.
Police say the 43-year-old man was riding his scooter down the sidewalk, when another man came out of his home, and fired two shots.
The victim was hit in the leg, but his injuries are not considered life threatening.
Officers arrested a 47-year-old man for aggravated battery, and being a felon in possession of a firearm.
