WICHITA, Kansas -- Two apartment employees were attacked Wednesday while working inside an apartment.
It happened around 1:50 p.m. in the 1500 block of East 17th Street.
A 60-year-old man and another apartment worker were inside an apartment working when an 18-year-old man came over to have a conversation.
The employees told the man that they had work and that he needed to leave.
He came back with a bat and tried to attack them.
One employee grabbed the bat, and the suspect ran away.
Police found the man. He was booked for aggravated assault.
The apartment employees were not injured.
