WICHITA, Kansas - Wichita police have arrested a 28-year-old man after he threatened his girlfriend with a gun.
It happened Tuesday afternoon in the 5700 block of East Harry.
According to police, the officer was told a 28-year-old man was threatening his girlfriend with a gun on Harry.
The officer followed up on the tip and found the man around the corner.
Once the 28-year-old man saw the officer, he began to run north of Pineridge.
Several officers responded and found the suspect hiding in the backyard.
He was taken into custody and booked for aggravated assault on a law officer as well as his girlfriend.
The students on the school bus were not injured.
