WICHITA, Kansas -- Wichita police say a 58-year-old woman suffering from mental disorders was taken to the hospital after chasing several children with a knife.
It happened in the 2300 block of North Erie around 8 p.m. Monday.
Several children were outside when neighbors witnessed the woman with the knife.
Neighbors intervened and called 911.
She was taken to the hospital for evaluation.
No children were injured.
Police say they will look into the case after she is dismissed to see if any charges will be filed.
