ORLANDO, Florida (WESH) -- A Florida community college professor was arrested Monday and accused of sex acts with a 13-year old boy.
Police say Robert McRee contacted the Melbourne teenager on an Internet dating site.
The two met after midnight at an out-of-the way location. The boy left his cellphone in the professor's vehicle, according to officers
Later, the boy was seen driving his parents' truck near the family's home. Police officers pulled him over and the boy told them happened, and they tracked down McRee at home using the boy's cellphone signal.
Officers said McRee admitted to the affair.
McRee is an associate professor of communications at Brevard Community College. He has been suspended without pay.
He is charged with lewd and lascivious acts with a child under 16.
