ORLANDO, Florida (WESH) -- Two armed men with stockings over their faces robbed a Publix in Lake Mary, Florida Saturday night.
One of the robbers took an employee from the front of the store to the back room, and the employee in the back room opened the door, not knowing the robber was there.
Surveillance video shows the man pointing a gun at the employees as they hand over the money.
The other robber kept watch on the workers and customers at the front of the store.
According to police, one of the robbers told the victims that he just wanted money, and he wasn't going to hurt anyone.
"The workers were absolutely terrified. Thank God one of those guns didn't go off and kill somebody," said Zach Hudson, with the Lake Mary police.
A K-9 was brought to search near the store but lost track of the scent.
Even though the robbers had their faces covered, police hope someone will notice something in the way they walk or something in their mannerisms.
