New PSA aimed a childhood obesity

WASHINGTON, D.C., Feb. 01, 2007 (NBC) -- The federal government, DreamWorks Animation and the Ad Council have teamed up to create a new public awareness campaign to combat childhood obesity.

The campaign includes ads featuring characters from the Shrek animated movies encouraging children to "Be a Player: Get Up and Play an Hour a Day."

On Thursday, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services unveiled the public service announcements to the public for the first time.
