WICHITA, Kansas, March 26, 2008 (AP) - A western-Kansas woman who spent so long sitting on the toilet that the seat adhered to sores on her body remains in a Wichita hospital.

A family member says 35-year-old Pam Babcock of Ness City remains in the intensive care unit.

She has been there since Kory McFarren called the Ness County Sheriff's Office to say that something was wrong with his girlfriend.

Authorities came to the home and found Babcock stuck to the toilet, which they think she had sat on for about a month.

McFarren was charged last week with a misdemeanor count of mistreatment of a dependent adult.

His first court appearance is April 7th in Ness City.
