Kingman police chief: Not guilty

KINGMAN, Kansas, May 8, 2008 – Kingman’s police chief was in court Thursday to enter a plea of not guilty.

John Braden is charged with one count each of making a criminal threat, criminal restraint and battery.

The charges stem from when Braden allegedly assaulted his girlfriend last month.

Braden is out of jail on a $10,000 bond and is on administrative leave. His preliminary hearing is set for May 30th.
