Wichita students fight anti-discrimination policy

Wichita Kansas , May 10, 2008-Gay and straight students from across Wichita held a community meeting today to discuss the way District 259 handles the sexual orientation of its students. Teachers and students are upset at the way the district has handled some recent incidents. The incidents involved claims of harassment and discrimination.

The groups, Students United and Hope Street are urging the school district to amend its anti-discrimination policy and include sexual orientation. KSN'S Josh Haskell has more.
