Prisoner taken back into custody in Wichita

WICHITA, Kansas, July 6, 2008-A prisoner with a long rap sheet, including aggravated battery on a police officer, was taken back into custody Sunday afternoon in Wichita.

A Department of Corrections official says 41-year-old Robert Phillips was captured by the staff of the facility in which he walked away from Saturday night. The facility is located at 401 S. Emporia.

 There is no word on where Phillips was captured.
