WICHITA, Kansas, July 18, 2008-A man accused of stealing a car is lucky to be alive. Police say he lost control of the car at the intersection of Willo-Esque and Renee.

The suspect was ejected and the car rolled on him. Luckily, some alert neighbors rushed to the scene, and rolled the car off the man.

He was taken to the hospital with moderate injuries.

Charges are pending against him, and police are investigating whether he may have been under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
