Popular local band member dies in car crash

WICHITA, Kansas, July 23, 2008 – A popular Wichita-area band member has died in a crash in western Kansas.

John “Phil” Rovenstein was the drummer in the local band “Crazy Heart.”

He died Tuesday in Clark County after a pick-up ran a stop sign and crashed into his van.
