WICHITA, Kansas, July 23, 2008 – If you are in the habit of using a travel agent to book you vacations, beware. A travel company has just been shut down.

The attorney general announced Wednesday that Elite Escapes can no longer do business within in the state of Kansas.

Elite offers vacation travel club services through phone calls and presentations at local hotels. But an investigation revealed that the out of state company engaged in deceptive practices when marketing its services.
