Boeing reports orders for 24 planes

By Jessica Oakley

SEATTLE, Washington, September 26, 2008 (AP) - The Boeing Co. Web site shows 24 new jetliner orders in the past week to unidentified customers.

The list on Friday includes four 777s, nine 767s and 11 737s, including one 737 business jet.

All Nippon Airways said this week it had a deal for 767s to fill in for delayed 787s, but a Boeing spokesman declined to comment.

Boeing reports a total of 610 commercial jet orders this year.
