ARKANSAS CITY, Kansas - The Arkansas City Police Department is investigating a child death.
It happened Sunday night around 7 p.m.
Officials were called to the 600 block of West Skyline after a 2-year-old Manton Kieffer was found not breathing.
He was transported to South Central Kansas Regional Medical Center where he died. The boy was under the care of his mother's boyfriend.
Police executed a search warrant right after the child's death.
An autopsy was performed at the Sedgwick County Forensic Science Center on Monday.
The results of the autopsy are pending.
