WICHITA, Kansas - Wichita fire crews responded to a duplex fire early Friday morning in the 4300 block of East Lincoln.
When fire crews arrived, they found flames coming from the front of the residence.
Crews quickly extinguished the fire which started in the bedroom.
No one was home at the time of the fire but the residence did suffer significant damage.
The opposite side which was occupied at the time of the fire suffered minor smoke damage, but there were no injuries reported.
The occupants who were home will not be displaced because of the damage.
Fire officials are still investigating the cause of the fire.
