HOISINGTON, Kansas - Hoisington police say a boy was severely injured after being attacked by a pit bull.
It happened Monday around 5:35 p.m. in the 700 block of East 3rd Street.
Hoisington Police Chief Kenton Doze says the 4-year-old boy was attacked by the neighbors dog.
He was flown to a Wichita hospital.
The owner was cited for a dog at large.
The dog was euthanized and did not have rabies.
