EUREKA, Kansas - The manhunt for Kevin Welsh continued Monday night in Eureka.
Law enforcement has been searching for Welsh since Oct. 2, when 52-year-old Sheila Kriesel and 54-year-old Keith Kriesel were shot to death and 26-year-old Catherine Scheff was wounded in Eureka.
He has been on the run ever since. The Kansas Attorney General said Welsh has not been located.
Police told residents to stay indoors as they blocked off several streets.
Authorities from surrounding counties joined the search.
Police made commands over a bullhorn calling out Welsh's name.
Neighbors say that Welsh was apparently hiding in a abandoned laundromat in a residential neighborhood that was blocked off.
Welsh is believed to be in Eureka or close proximity.
He is considered armed.
Officials have now offered an $11,000 reward for information leading to the apprehension of Kevin Robert Welsh.
Any person with information is asked to call 911 or 1-800-KS-CRIME."
