ATLANTA (AP) -- Top seed Louisville will be playing a little basketball on Monday night.
The Cardinals have reached the NCAA title game with a 72-68 comeback win over Wichita State. Louisville trailed 47-35 after Cleanthony Early hit a three-pointer with about 13 1/2 minutes left.
Russ Smith led the Cardinals with 21 points, including three free throws in the final 29.9 seconds. Smith drained one of two from the line with 4.9 seconds remaining to put the Cards ahead by four.
Luke Hancock finished with 20 points for Louisville, while Chane Behanan added 10 and nine rebounds.
The Shockers lost despite Early's game-highs of 24 points and 10 boards.
The Cardinals will take on the winner of tonight's game between Syracuse and Michigan. The Wolverines reached the semifinals by crushing Florida last Sunday after the Orange held Marquette to 39 points.
