WICHITA, Kansas - Wichita police are looking for the man who grabbed a money bag from two employees.
It happened at the Walmart in the 500 block of East Pawnee just after 10:15 Wednesday night.
Police say two employees were emptying out a cash register drawer when a man approached them and grabbed the bag.
Employees struggled with the man until they found out he had a gun in his waistband.
The suspect left the store.
A customer in the store followed the man out and attempted to get the money bag back.
The suspect was able to break free.
He got inside a blue van and left.
The witness followed the van to Funston and Ida.
The suspect got out and took off on foot.
Then, several hours later, a resident in the 1800 block of South Ellis located a coat and the money bag from Walmart in a detached garage.
Police say the bag contained no cash.
The loss from the Walmart is undetermined.
